Comfy and Clean Crash Pad
Had a decent stay! The room was spacious and really comfy. The shared bathrooms were kept clean. Met this cool young guy at check-in who was super helpful and friendly, which made my solo trip more enjoyable. Just a heads up, no guests allowed in the rooms—not a biggie, but something to know. the snack bar was a nice touch for quick bites!

Free WiFi throughout the building proved convenient for planning my next adventure. The small TV in the room provided some entertainment options on a quiet evening.
No kettle or cups meant filling my water bottle was a hassle. The lack of bedside sockets made it tricky for my CPRAP machine, forcing me to set it up on a chair. Shared bathrooms came with the inconvenience of no sinks nearby, and the toilet door refused to lock, which could make for awkward situations. The walls were thin, so any snoring or late-night conversations from neighbors echoed through the room. The decor felt dated, with worn carpets and a cracked sink in the room. It was warm, yet windows were too high up to open, which made it stuffy.

Great location and friendly atmosphere
The stay was overall positive, as I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, and my room was clean and comfortable. The location was a major plus, being close to the railway station and city center. It's a budget option that delivered good value for money! A kettle in the room would have been a nice addition for making tea or coffee at my convenience.

missingWrote a review on Apr 22uneven stairs
Navigating the stairs can be a challenge, especially with uneven steps. I had to go up sideways to avoid tripping over my size 12 shoes. Cleanliness left something to be desired as the toilets weren’t cleaned during my stay, which required me to handle it myself. The communal area feels dark and dingy, lacking the inviting vibe you’d hope for when checking in. As for breakfast, signage suggests it's available, but it's currently not offered, which would have been nice to have. the lack of a kettle in the room was a slight inconvenience for late-night tea cravings. The TV experience was mediocre at best since some channels, like the BBC radio, just didn't work.
